Data We Collect

tankebiosciences collects the minimum data required to operate the platform: account registration details (email, name, payment information), API usage logs (timestamps, request counts, error codes), and browser session data for web users.

We do not collect or store the images you upload beyond the 60-second processing window. No processed outputs are retained on tankebiosciences servers after delivery. This is enforced at infrastructure level, not by policy alone.

How We Use Your Data

Account data is used to authenticate your sessions, process payments, and send service notifications. API usage logs are used for billing, abuse detection, and platform performance monitoring. We do not sell your data to third parties or use it for advertising.

Cookies

The tankebiosciences website uses strictly necessary cookies for session management and authentication. With your consent, we also set analytics cookies (Google Analytics 4) to understand aggregate traffic patterns. No cookies track your activity across other websites.

You can withdraw cookie consent at any time through the cookie preferences panel. Withdrawing analytics consent does not affect your ability to use the platform. Strictly necessary cookies cannot be disabled without breaking session functionality.

Data Sharing

We share limited data with trusted infrastructure providers: Stripe for payment processing, AWS for cloud hosting, and SendGrid for transactional email. Each provider is contractually bound to process your data only for the purposes we specify and under GDPR-compliant data processing agreements.

Data Security

All data in transit is protected by 256-bit TLS encryption. Account data at rest is encrypted using AES-256. tankebiosciences holds SOC 2 Type II certification, with annual third-party security audits.

Access to personal data is restricted to authorised tankebiosciences personnel on a need-to-know basis. All staff with data access sign confidentiality agreements and complete annual privacy training.

Your Rights

Under GDPR and applicable privacy laws, you have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data; to restrict or object to processing; and to data portability. Third-Party Links

Data Retention

Account metadata is retained for the life of your account plus 90 days after deletion. Payment records are retained for 7 years as required by financial regulations. Processed images are deleted within 60 seconds — no exceptions, no recoverable backups.

Policy Updates

tankebiosciences will notify registered users by email at least 14 days before any material change to this policy takes effect. The current version is always published at the privacy policy URL with a 'last updated' date. Continued platform use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
